Perspektiv launch World Cup website

13.07.10

Perspektiv has developed a website to support Punch Taverns two-stage World Cup promotion in association with a leading high street betting office.
The website, www.watchpubfootball.co.uk, has been designed to deliver an online mechanism to communicate both phases of the promotion - a pre World Cup ‘Goalden Ticket’ prize draw, to ensure Punch Taverns pubs are the venue of choice to watch the matches and a scratch card competition, running throughout the tournament to retain customers.
The site is vibrant and easy to navigate, allowing visitors to search for participating pubs in their local area and browse pub homepages.  Visitors had until 30th May to register to get their personalised Goalden Ticket, which was constructed dynamically based on data provided by the customer and broadcast directly from the integrated email system.
The website was then totally reskinned to support the scratch card phase of the campaign, in partnership with a leading high street betting office.
Registered guests were then entered into Punch’s Email Club, to receive exclusive ongoing offers and updates from their local pub.

“The website plays an important part in pulling the whole campaign together as well as integrating with all in-pub literature,” said Chris McGillan, at Perspektiv Group. “During the pre World Cup Goalden Ticket campaign, guests were given cards with a special code, driving them to the website to take part in the competition –receiving 6,000 entries. The site is now being used to communicate the next phase of the campaign and is driving significant traffic into pubs.”

“Having worked closely with Perspektiv Group over the past 18 months to develop several key aspects of our CRM and digital strategy, we have built a successful working relationship with them,” said Darryl Pannell, concept manager at Punch Taverns. “This is why we awarded the World Cup campaign to them. We look forward to working further with them in the future.”
